Jones Beach 7/22

Justin's Pick!
Did you ever have a time in your life when everything seems to be perfect? This is how I felt at the Jones Beach concert...everything seemed to fall into place. And that doesn't happen often!!! The weather was perfect, I found that my front row seats that were purchased through Ticketmaster were absolutely dead center and I was surrounded by wonderful friends. I thought it just couldn't get any better than this! It did........
The show was fantastic...and what fun it is to have interaction with all the band members and also to have them see you having a blast clapping and singing along.
After "Ride My See-Saw", my best friend Kathy and I decided to try and ask Justin for his pick. We got his attention and he walked towards us and dipped the neck of his guitar down. We had wanted somehow to take the pick together... LOL, it made perfect sense to us! However, I don't think Justin understood. He looked at me and said something like, "You take it." At this point, I'm pretty sure Kathy and I both had our hands on the neck of the guitar. Anyway, I didn't want to grab the pick from Kathy, but Justin told me to take it again so I obliged with very shaky hands:-) He blew a kiss and then took a bouquet of gorgeous flowers from the women seated next to me. Everyone in the first row was ecstatic. If only we could bottle up that moment!!
